2 Rooms Available in Hove Area -

Hello! I’m Kit :) I have two double rooms that will soon need new roomies as my two friends are moving on. Both rooms are unfurnished and start a month apart. 


Room 1 - small double with large ensuite available May 101th.


Room 2 - normal double room available June 11th.

The property is a three-bedroom flat with a large living room and a balcony area facing east. The kitchen has electric hobs and an oven. I have a fridge and freezer, and a washing machine that is for general use. I have plenty of kitchen stuff to share if you don't have anything (This isn't an exaggeration, the cupboards are overflowing!).

Bills are roughly 85 for each person per month. That covers the council tax (Band C), broadband (220mb speed) and TV license. The gas and electric during this cost of living crisis has been around £70 a month in winter and is estimated to drop to about 35/40 in spring. Water is around £15 a month. I currently have a cleaner who comes every two weeks and charges £16 an hour.

The flat is close to Western Road, along all main bus routes. A short 15-minute walk to either Hove or Brighton railstations, and has a Waitrose, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, and Taj nearby within walking distance as well.

I’m looking for someone similarly quiet and laid back and who wants to make the place have a homely feel, contributing to tidying and keeping the place clean. I enjoy a peaceful life
and I'm happy to nest in my room and relax after work, but also enjoy the occasional film night and a catch-up in the kitchen whilst making dinner. We have a family below us, and to the side, as well as a (lovely) couple who live above so the flat isn't a party flat at all. I'm neat clean and tidy and want housemates on the same vibe as that.

I work full-time for Sussex University based in one of their school offices, doing the Monday-to-Friday grind. I work from home two days a week and study part-time in London, commuting up one evening a week in term time. I’m relaxed, a bit nerdy and a big board game geek. I enjoy bike rides, swimming, and seeing friends at the weekend.
