Description
NEAR KEMP TOWN SEAFRONT/ROYAL SUSSEX HOSPITAL/5 MINS FROM BEACH
Hello, thanks for looking! Please READ carefully what it is that we are looking for (see next paragraph) and do introduce yourself, but remember to explain how you are a match for what we are asking for…As long as you do this and you also appear to be a match, then I promise to respond. 😊
We’re looking for just one friendly female to join us in our comfortable home, who is non-smoking, vegetarian/fish-eating veggie (or prepared to be so when at home) and who likes dogs. I also need someone who is studying, or working Monday to Friday, full time, during the daytime, but away from the house…Sorry, but it’s not suitable for people who need to work from home.
This room is very light, sunny and spacious, with a big pretty bay window and is furnished with a double bed, an armchair, a desk, desk chair and lamp, a large storage cupboard, under bed drawers, a sturdy Habitat clothes rail, with stripped wood floors and a rug. It has recently been decorated.
We are a friendly household and we like an easygoing atmosphere and also to be a bit sociable once in a while and have a house dinner, or a glass of wine in the the evening, or watch a movie together, but we have always shared our home though, so we are used to giving people their own personal space and it is also fine to keep to yourself.
The current household consists of three females…myself, my daughter, who is a sweet-natured, easygoing girl age 21 (she is at Uni, so only visiting, or home in holidays) and another girl in her early thirties. We also have an adorable, playful little dog, who is very loving and friendly (sorry, but we couldn’t manage to have any other pets living with us). Between us, we enjoy travel, film, personal development, yoga, cooking, the gym, cycling, learning French and Spanish.
A bit more general house info for you...
The house is comfortable and equipped with wireless internet, lots of extra storage (in attic), washing machine, microwave, power shower/bath etc. We have central heating, so all rooms have radiators and the house heats up nicely. The rent includes all bills (except a phone). We also have a little garden, pretty and sunny where we can sit, or eat out on warm days.
Our road is a very quiet, friendly little cul de sac, a few minutes walk to the beach and 20 minutes walk to Brighton town centre and a 5-10 minute walk from local language schools, the Royal Sussex County Hospital and Amex. Very close to useful bus routes (into town, or to the Uni) and 10 minutes on the bus to the station (though is doable walking).
PARKING:
We are in Zone H, for which you can easily purchase a resident's permit. Unlike other zones, there is no waiting list and the cost is considerably cheaper than some other zones. And that's about as good as it gets for parking in central Brighton!
