Large double bedroom in a Peaceful, Spacious Home

This is a beautiful and very spacious 2 bedroom home located near Marmalade café in the quiet end of Kemptown.

Your bedroom is a spacious double room with a new double glazed window, a small built in cupboard and central heating. This room is mostly unfurnished (includes the wooden shelving unit shown in the photo and a comfy chair which I can remove if you don't need them). It can also include a bed, bedside table and chest of drawers if you would like. Just let me know what you would prefer.

The rest of the house is fully furnished with an equipped kitchen. The bathroom has a bath as well as a shower and a washing machine. Downstairs consists of a storage area (room for a bike if you have one). The living space is upstairs (2 double bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, very large living area, and roof terrace off of my bedroom that you can also use).

I have lived here for 4 years and in that time the house has become a lovely home. I have made close friends with my neighbours and we all enjoy having a quiet, calm environment to come home to. The house sits behind a church and is quite peaceful outside as well as in. It will not be possible to have parties here.

I am a calm, gentle, conscientious person and would like a flatmate who is naturally gentle, kind, conscientious in nature and drama free. I am an early to bed, early to rise kind of person, choosing to spend my free time going to yoga classes, sharing deep conversations with my friends (more often hanging out with them outside of the home rather than inside), reading a good book, participating in healing modalities, and taking walks in nature.

I enjoy sharing friendly chats with the person I live with while also spending time with myself. I am a warm, open and friendly person however would describe myself as slightly more introverted than extroverted. I would like to live with a person who is calm in energy and also relates to being a bit more on the introverted side.

I feel best when living in a space that is very clean and tidy, and am looking for someone who equally enjoys taking care of their surroundings and creating a peaceful space around them. This feels very important for me.

I am mostly vegetarian, although I occasionally eat meat. I would be happy to keep it out of the house if this is your preference. I am happy for you to cook and eat whatever you please.

I am a 41 year old working professional and run my own business. I am a psychotherapist and energy healing practitioner. Yes there are lots of crystals around the house ;) I am quite grounded while being interested in spirituality.

*I WORK FROM HOME 3 DAYS PER WEEK FROM 9-5PM MONDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY, GIVING REIKI AND THERAPY SESSIONS. This living arrangement will only suit someone who works outside of the house during these hours as I will need full privacy for my clients.*

Council tax and WIFI are included within the monthly rent. Electricity, water, and gas are not included. You will be responsible for 1/2 of these bills, payable at the end of each calendar month. To give you an idea, my last flatmate paid £40-£60 per month for these during spring, summer and autumn and £100 as a maximum during the 2 coldest winter months this year. I am consistently responsible with paying all of my bills on time and so this is a must for me when considering a new flatmate.
