Spacious double room in house with garden, on quiet Kemptown street.

2 friendly, professional housemates looking for another lovely person to join them - 17th October.

*About the room:*
A spacious double (master bedroom), with bay window.
Can come partially-furnished, or unfurnished.
Space for a double (or bigger) bed, desk, drawers, wardrobe and armchair/small sofa.
The room is at the front of the house but the street is incredibly quiet.

*About the house: *
3 bed terrace house on 2 floors, with a small garden.
Decent-sized living room, kitchen and bathroom with shower and bath.

We share all the kitchen equipment and although the house doesn’t come with white goods, these are in place.

Garden is decked and low maintenance with table and chairs. We attempt to grow a few things, and it’s a lovely sun trap to chill in when it's sunny.

There is a lovely sense of community on the street, with a neighbours’ WhatsApp group and best of all, a communal celebration of advent window displays in December. At this time, we gather together each evening with neighbours to admire a different window display, and enjoy festive treats.

The street is generally super-quiet and is one-way, so there’s not much through-traffic.

There is a small amount of storage space around the house that is shared between everyone.

We currently share the cost of household items including laundry stuff, kitchen basics, toilet roll etc and compost collection which works well.

*Bills*
Are not included and we split these equally.
Bills: £125 per month.
We share the cost of WiFi and TV licence.

*About the housemates: *
We’re both females in our 30s, one of us works from home at times and the other works away, and is in the house about 1/3 of the time, so the house feels fairly roomy.

One of us works shifts and so will sleep during the day sometimes.

We’re sociable and chilled, so looking for someone who that sounds good to.

*About the area: *
We are in Kemptown, approx. 5 mins walk from the hospital.
On a quiet and friendly street behind Brighton College.
10 mins walk to the sea.
30 mins walk to Brighton train station.
5 mins walk to the number 2, 7 and 1 bus routes.
Parking zone H.
Bike hangars at the end of the road.

The landlord has let the tenant leaving have a cat, and may well be open to this again, if your cat is well behaved. We would need to ask the landlord.
