Hi, as my flatmate is moving out in late-April, I am looking for someone to renew the flat tenancy with. The new tenancy would start on the 25th April.
The flat is a reasonably-sized top-floor 2-bed, only a 30-second walk from the seafront, with plenty of amenities nearby and transport links. The Royal Sussex hospital is only a 5 minute walk, and Brighton marina and the city centre are also not too far.
The room available comes unfurnished as my current flatmate has it furnished themselves. As well as the room, there is additional storage space available just for you to use in the entrance hall. Road-side parking is also available, (Resident Zone H).
The rent for the room is £595 per month, which includes electricity and WiFi usage (covered by myself). The additional bills to pay would be the council tax, which is £165 per month (council tax Band B), plus water which is £33 per month. All in all, not too expensive for the location!
The deposit required is five weeks rent.
As for myself, my working hours tend to fluctuate alot, but generally I work most evenings and weekends with the odd Tuesday/Wednesday off so you will have plenty of free flat time. I don't bring large groups of friends round, on the occasion one or two, but not often. You are welcome to bring anyone over too.
