Attic Ensuite in Large Home by the Sea, Kemptown

Hello,
I’m looking for 1 female or non-binary person to join me in my home in Kemptown, Brighton from the end of November until April.

The Location:
Right by the seafront, on a quiet street close to Kemptown’s independent shops and cafés, just a few minutes walk from the hospital. Free parking 5 minutes walk away.

The Room:
It’s on it’s own private floor, bright and peaceful, recently refurbished, with a comfy king-size bed, ensuite bathroom, and sea views. There's a chest of drawers, a cupboard for hanging clothes and some additional storage available within the room/ bathroom space, but it would suit someone travelling fairly light, as there’s not additional storage in the living room.

The Space:
It’s extremely spacious, rooms are spread over 4 floors, and there’s a large living room and eat in kitchen, so you can have both privacy and connection. There’s a sunny south-facing roof terrace with sea views, plants and a table and chairs for eating/drinking/reading. The place is soundproofed and well insulated so it doesn’t get too cold in winter. I like to keep the communal spaces clean and tidy. I'm up for a discussion around whether we have a cleaner or not. Well behaved cats considered.

I’ve put a lot of time and love into making this space beautiful, and that, along with the size and location are reflected in the price.

This is a LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent friendly space and everyone I invite into the space shares my values on this.

About me:
I’m a friendly, creative woman in my mid-to-late 30's. I work mostly from home so I’m often here in the daytime. I sing, and love playing music with people and enjoy a good balance of having people over for food or creative projects, and having quiet days to recharge.

This house is for you if:
- Reading the advert so far has made you feel excited
- You want to live in a house that’s beautiful, spacious and well taken care of.
- You'd love living right by the seafront
- You’re happy with a balance of social and quiet time.
- You don't have much stuff - so the idea of being in a fully furnished house is a plus.
- You’re grounded, down to earth and take responsibility for your own feelings and well-being.

This house is probably not for you if:
- You want to have lots of people round often
- You need silence in communal spaces
- You want something budget
- You have a lot of belongings (the house is fully furnished and there isn’t unused storage beyond the attic, apart from for kitchen items and food)
- Reading the advert so far has not made you that excited, or it would feel like you were squeezing yourself to fit into a place that's not quite right.
