Hi! I’m looking for a new flatmate to share my lower-ground flat in Kemptown (near Brighton College / 5 mins from the high street).
The room is a single room with a small double bed, part-furnished (bed frame included), and would comfortably fit a bedside table and a single wardrobe. It’s available ASAP (pending referencing etc), ideally before 10th February but can be flexible for the right person.
The flat
- Lower ground but surprisingly bright!!
- Quiet street, 5 mins walk to Kemptown high street & 10 mins to the sea
- Good-sized living room (plenty of space to relax or work)
- Small, fully equipped kitchen (washing machine, fridge freezer, all the usual bits, sadly no dishwasher)
- Little bit of outdoor space & bike / storage area out the front
- Plenty of on-road parking (permit H)
- Warm, quiet and cosy - lovely neighbours!

Money bits

- Bills: approx. £180–£200 pcm (energy, water, council tax band B, internet)

About me
I’m 29, work in marketing and mostly work from home. I’m chatty and friendly, like to cook, enjoy cosy evenings, hikes, yoga, board games, etc. I also have a very sweet cat - his name is Barry 🐈
I’m fairly new to Brighton (from the Midlands originally) and would be happy to find a new friend I can hang out with!
I’ve got my own desk in my room, so you’re very welcome to use the living room as your workspace if you need, there’s space for a desk, plenty of storage and shelf space for books and anything you’d like.
Bonus: espresso machine ☕️

- Ideally 25–35, working professional
- Quiet-ish, respectful, tidy-ish (no perfection expected at all)
- No couples (can only consider one person unfortunately!)
- Cats considered, but no dogs (Barry could use a friend)
