Sunny Double Room - Sussex Sq, Kemptown

Renting the other room in a 2 bed flat, it’s a large spacious regency apartment by the sea in Kemptown (BN2) split over two floors.

The apartment benefits from large spacious rooms, high ceilings and a private garden which is directly connected to the beach. The upper floor has the bedrooms which are quiet and face the Sussex Downs overlooking a garden, with birds and squirrels!

There is a shared bathroom, an additional toilet/utility room, a separate small kitchen (with all the essentials). The room is furnished with a desk, a small double futon bed and an in-built wardrobe. We can customise the space to your needs, i, e other furniture or different bed if you like.

You'll be sharing with me - I'm 33, work in Brighton (I have a partner who is 37 - he lives elsewhere in another city but does occasionally come and stay with me when in town, or I visit him when I am off work). We are both relaxed and easy going. So you may have the apartment for yourself when I’m not here or may see us both if we are in Brighton.

It would be nice to have some interesting company in the space, what's important is someone respectful and considerate. Ideally a young professional who tidy and a good housemate! I work in the hospital doing shifts, my partner runs his own company. We enjoy cooking (partner is in hospitality), having drinks, yoga, travel, generally enjoying life!

We have a TV with all the usual subscriptions (Netflix, Disney, Prime, Apple), dishwasher, coffee machine etc.

The rent is £300/weekly (bills included), or £950/month inclusive of most bills internet, council tax, water. Gas and electricity contribution on usage. Ideally would be a short let for a couple of months as we may move after August.

We love living here and everything is on our doorstep, especially Marmalade cafe and the Reading Room cafe just next door, or the seaside for morning walks or jogs. The flat is amazing, one of a kind and very spacious - we hope you will love it too!
