Lovely double room with courtyard Kemptown

I’m looking for a lovely new flatmate to take over my room in this spacious two-bedroom flat in Kemptown. Female preferred, but not a dealbreaker for the right person. Move-in date is flexible.

The flat

A basement flat with good natural light throughout, a well-designed layout, and access to a private courtyard.

Your room comes partly furnished with a double bed, with flexibility on additional bits if helpful. There’s also enough floor space for yoga or home workouts if that’s your thing.

You’ll be sharing with one other female flatmate (more below) and the vibe is relaxed and respectful - friendly and open to the occasional hang-out, while fully respecting each other’s space.

There’s a lovely shared lounge with room to properly relax - TV nights, dining in, or just switching off. You’ll also have access to a courtyard, perfect if you enjoy a bit of gardening or outdoor space :-)

* Excellent transport links - buses 7, 1, and 2 are just a 3-minute walk away
* Well connected, great location, and easy access to everything Brighton has to offer
* Sea is five min walk down the road - you can see it as soon as you step out of the flat!

About your future flatmate :)

Hi! I’m Kristin - a young-at-heart 40-year-old who has lived in Brighton for the past three years and absolutely loves it. I’m originally American (don’t hold that against me!), but I’ve lived outside the US for the past seven years.

I currently work remotely as a consultant for US charities, usually from a coworking space in central Brighton. From next September, I’m hoping to start a PhD at a local university.

Ideally, I’m looking for a flatmate who doesn’t work from home full time and who’d enjoy the occasional dinner, movie, or series together - while also being totally comfortable doing their own thing.

I’m very clean and tidy, so that’s important to me in a flatmate. I’m sociable and an extrovert, but most of that happens outside the flat. I’m absolutely fine with friends visiting from time to time and love a good games night.
