Cozy Room in Big Regency House + Sea View Balcony

This cozy room is perfect for someone who wants to live in a large, friendly, respectful and professional household in a quiet part of Kemptown village.

Furnished with a brand new bed, mattress, blinds, lampshade, duvet and pillows, the room boasts beautiful views of green foliage and the Regency Gardens. It has under-bed storage, plus private attic storage within the room and a small cupboard outside the room if further storage is required.

The house itself is on five levels and has a large, open living room with two large French windows that open onto a sea-view balcony, where you can sit and have coffee or breakfast, while watching the waves, or bask in the morning sun. The entire house has east facing and west facing windows, so gets light all day long. There is a large dining table which can be used for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

The house has two bathrooms (including a bidet) and a separate shower room.

It has a modern, shared kitchen with gas cooker, washing machine, convection oven, air fryer, microwave, fridge and freezer space. You will have your own cupboard for food and groceries. I am installing a bar style eating option.

The house is freshly carpeted and cleaned.

I am a teacher and writer and do work from home a few days per week and have an office set up at the back of the living room. The other housemate is an electrical engineer who goes out to work very early in the morning so is not there during the day.

I have a gorgeous, 16 year old Rescue Dog (Pimms) who loves people and attention. She is an absolute diamond of a dog so if you are not a dog person, this house is not for you.

This is a drug-free, party-free household so if this is you, please do not apply. We do like to cook, eat and have a drink together from time to time so we would obviously welcome someone who is open to that.
