Description

One room available, with ALL BILLS included, for a lovely, family-minded person to join us in our comfortable home. We are a friendly household and we like an easygoing atmosphere and also to be a bit sociable and have a house dinner, or a glass of wine in the the evening, or watch a movie together once in a while. We have always house shared though, so very used to giving people their own personal space and it is also fine to keep to yourself.

The available room is very light and sunny, quite spacious, with a double bed and is simply furnished, with a stripped wooden floor, pretty bay window and a fireplace.

The current household consists of myself, one other female lodger, plus I have a delightful 11 year old girl...very sociable, sweet-natured and affectionate, all of which of course I can say without any bias at all!! ;) We also have a 2 year old Cavachon puppy (loving, friendly and non-moulting).

We are looking for one more person. I am self-employed and work at home and the other girl works in Amex.

THIS IS WHAT WOULD BE A GREAT FIT FOR US:
Likes children and dogs (obviously!!), vegetarian, or fish-eating veggie, non-smoking and currently in a steady full-time job, working Monday-Friday daytime. More of a long let, than a short let and would like a minimum of 6 months.

Looking forward to hearing from you; do call, or email, telling us something about yourself and how you tick the above boxes. :)

A bit more info for you...
The house is comfortable and well equipped with the usual mod cons TV/DVD, wireless internet, storage (in attic), washing machine, tumble dryer, shower/bath etc. We have central heating, so all rooms have radiators and the house heats up nicely. The rent includes all of the bills (except a phone). We also have a pretty little garden, nice and sunny to sit/eat out in on warmer days.

Our road is a very quiet and friendly little cul de sac in Kemp Town Village, a few minutes walk to the beach and 15 minutes walk to Brighton town centre. Very near to useful bus routes and 10 minutes on the bus to the station (though is doable walking). Handy for Sussex County and Amex.

There are resident parking bays where you can park in our street, or very close by, as is usual in central Brighton. You can also easily get a resident's permit, when I give you proof of address. We are in Zone H, for which is there is NO waiting list and it is also relatively cheap, compared with some other areas of Brighton, where you may have to wait a year, or more for a permit and where they can also cost hundreds of pounds! That is about as good as it gets for parking, if you want to live in central Brighton, as there are not many houses this near the seafront have their own driveways!

Shared interests include film, travel, cooking, VW campers, camping, personal development, Law of Attraction and "deliberate creation" (The Secret!).
