Sunny room in spacious Vegetarian Kemp town house

Friendly, spacious and light four bedroom vegan/vegetarian house, The house has a big open plan lower ground floor kitchen and living room, secluded south facing patio garden with additional large very unsecluded south facing roof terrace, 1 bathroom, 2 toilets and utility room.

The house near to St Georges Road with its shops/pubs and cafes. Queen’s Park, the seafront and the County Hospital are 5 minutes away and we are about 15 minutes walk from Brighton Centre. Parking is In Zone H and and a permit can be obtained without wait.

The room is a very sunny medium double 2.7x3.4m and furnished with a double bed, desk, chair, mirror and clothes rail.

The house is currently to share with myself, Hepsebah and Shade. I work in medicine and spend free time working on illustrations, cycling and toiling on the house allotment up the hill. I’ve been developing a flower nursery and bee sanctuary. I am interested in health, environmental politics, music, art and vibrant cooking. , fire, community, nourishing food.

I have a pretty healthy and balanced lifestyle and really value open communication and genuine connections. I enjoy being social but also appreciate having space for my personal routines. I work as a multidisciplinary maker freelance and have a real passion for natural materials. I’ve only just moved in the house and I am sad to see our flatmate go, but at the same time excited to meet who’s coming next
We'd Iike to find a person who likes likes a mix of friendly, sociable and private, perhaps eating together once/twice a month or so. The house has stacks of room and is clean and Well maintained.

The house allotment also has direct sea views and a friendly fox. The plot is a 2 minute magic getaway in these times for horticulture or just spending time enjoying the views west over the city.

We're looking for someone who is either vegan/vegetarian (or happy to be that way at home)
The room is available from 1st June and ideally we're looking for someone to land for at least a year or so to establish a rythym in the house.

The rent includes Council tax/Internet. The energy bills are calculated and settled monthly and water six monthly.
