Friendly, spacious and light four bedroom 4 storey vegan/vegetarian house, The house has a big open plan lower ground floor kitchen and living room, secluded south facing patio garden with additional large south facing roof terrace on on the first floor, 1 bathroom, 2 toilets and utility room.
The house is near to St Georges Road with its shops/pubs and cafes. Queen’s Park, the seafront and the County Hospital are 5 minutes away and we are about 15 minutes walk from Brighton Centre. Parking is In Zone H and a permit can be obtained without wait. The council tax is band C.

The room is a double and will be furnished with a double bed, mirror, clothes rail, shelves, drawers, lamps etc as required.
The bedroom measures 3.3m including chimney recess and 4m long including the bay.

The house is currently to share with myself, Ishtar and Hepsebah, I work in medicine and spend free time working on illustrations, cycling and tinkering the house allotment. I’ve been developing a flower nursery and bee sanctuary. I am interested in health, music, art and dancing.

Hello! I’m Ishtar, I’ve lived in Brighton for 8 years and I love it here. I work in community arts and like to spend my time mending and making clothes, writing, reading and generally walking around Sussex.
We’d Iike to find a person who likes a mix of friendly, sociable and private, perhaps eating together once or twice a month. The house has stacks of room and is clean and Well maintained. The bathroom has recently has had some upgrades and all things work well.

The house allotment also has direct sea views and a friendly fox. The plot is a 2 minute getaway with a large platform and cabin for socialising, experiments in horticulture or just spending time enjoying the views west over the city.

We’re also looking for someone who is either vegan/vegetarian (or happy to be that way at home)

The room is available from 1st April (for real)

The rent includes council tax/internet.

Water, gas and electric are calculated monthly and paid monthly except for water which is bi-annual. I bulk buy house consumables and we split that four ways every month.
