If you want a peaceful haven after a hard day's work, but don't mind family life going on around you, our home is the place for you. My husband and I, our 7yr old son and two family dogs (very friendly Border Terrier and Golden Retriever) live in a village on the Cuckmere River. If you fancy a drink after work or can't be bothered to cook, we live next door to a quiet pub with great food. With the South Downs Way, Friston Forest and Cuckmere Haven on our doorstep, we are surrounded by excellent walks and bike rides. We are 1 1/2 miles from the sea. You can walk straight out from the bottom of our garden onto the Cuckmere River.

Our extra large double room available overlooks the garden with plenty of space to enjoy peace and quiet in your own room with your own TV. There is a large bathroom with a shower next door.

We are 15 mins drive from Eastbourne, 20 mins drive from Lewes and 30 mins drive from Brighton. The nearest train stations are Berwick and Polegate with direct trains to London.

If you want to feel at home, are happy to share our kitchen and garden, then we hope you'll come and stay for a while.
