There is no deposit, but the rent to be paid 2 months in advance on or prior to moving in and then monthly.

I am presently in contact with Sussexletting the union housing department and also Sussex university housing office to arrange a tenancy agreement on an individual basis last years tenancy was a joint tenancy, you can contact either of them to verify this.

The holding deposit will be taken off your first rent payment.
Prior to a proper tenancy agreement if required you can pay direct for which a receipt and confirmation will be provided. For this year only and because of the vulnerable and uncertain times I do not required a deposit or a guarantor but instead will have to rely on trust especially as all students are registered to the university. I am an accredited private landlord with the landlords association and also registered with the Brighton and Sussex uni housing depts and Sussex lettings the union own housing department.
