Description
no short term applicants sorry :)
Hi all!
SEASALT Housing Co-operative is looking for 1 more member from September! as Joe will be moving out sadly due to finishing their degree. The move in date will be the 17th of Sep.
SEASALT is a coop created to provide quality housing to STUDENTS, including 1 year after studying!
It's all about creating an experience together as a whole, we all have a voice on how the house is run and how to live together the best, as it should be in every house. :) We are all quite radical leftists, each of us spreading in different areas. Living in a coop is a responsability to ourselves, each other, the house and the coop. It is an investment of time and energy but we get to create our own utopia!
We need someone who is willing to work with others, enjoys living with others and can bring their own personal energy to the house, creating a harmonious and collaborative energy. To make the dream a reality! Honesty, compassion and drive is all things we look for :)
It's £500 per month with bills included, and an extra £5 coop membership fee. Bills are going up in September/October and we are trying to work how much that will be.
There are 7 of us living in a lovely peaceful neighbourhood in Mouslecoomb.
The house is located near Sussex Falmer Campus with big windows, a lovely big garden and big communal areas to chill.
If you have interest in living away from the expensive and exploitative private rented sector and moving into a house which is queer-friendly, accessible, disability-friendly, and pet-friendly, then dm and we can arrange a meetup to get to know you!
message us if you have any questions!
ACCESSIBILITY: The house has got a few steps to get into, seven outside and the room is on the first floor. there is a bathroom on every floor (3).
