Double Room in a “modern” family home

Double room available in our lovely home with back garden backing onto woodland and the Downs. It’s a semi detached house with views over the greenery to the front of the house. You also have use of a basic gym in the garage. It’s a fully secure house with an alarm system and exterior cameras.

We have a rescue female cat called Poppet who is very affectionate and friendly, so being fond of cats is a must!

The room is fully furnished with optional EE TV and is available for viewing.

There is a bus stop right outside the house which takes you straight into central Brighton, which takes about 20 minutes and it’s about 10 minutes on the bus to Preston Park train station which provides direct links into London. We also have a drive big enough for two cars (I have one) and we are within walking distance of shops and local amenities.

A bit about us! I am a business coach and my 17 year old trans son lives here with me full time, currently studying at BHASVIC College. I work from home full time and travel on occasion. We are happy to welcome someone who values their own space but we are more than happy to be sociable and welcoming in our shared space. If you are looking for a party house then this might not be for you, but we are relaxed and open to you having occasional visits from friends at the weekend.

The kitchen and dining space is spacious, with facilities to make fresh coffee, as well as all standard kitchen equipment, including an air fryer.

The living room is a comfortable and social space, ideal for watching a movie with friends with full surround sound and streaming services and the WiFi keeps us from going crazy.

You will have use of a family bathroom, which will be shared with my trans son, which has ample space to store your personal belongings.

Our house would be suitable for a student or young professional, but ideally not someone who works from home.
