I’m a 27yo working professional, and there will be one other male housemate, we both work full time and currently from home some of the time. The house is right on the 1&1A Bus route and roughly a 20 minute walk to 3 train stations. There’s free on street parking outside. There is a lovely outside patio area with a pergola and water feature, which is lovely to sit in during the summer.

The room is bright and neutrally decorated. It can come with a single bed OR it can come with a double bed but this obviously leaves less floor space. There’s a single wardrobe and chest of drawers. There is a tv bracket on the wall which fits most TVs. Working from home is totally fine, but most of the time this would need to be from your room.

I am totally chill about friends, partners round etc and other things like that you won’t need to ‘ask me permission’! It’s a chilled and friendly house, & dont be put off by the live in landlord part - i was renting in shared houses myself until i bought this place this year.

The house is always clean and tidy, and we’re both respectful of space, boundaries, your things etc and we definitely need someone to be the same. We’re both chilled and friendly, though i’m a smoker and might lean out the back door if it’s raining rather than fully out so if smoke/smokers bother you then it might not be the best house for you!

I have two small dogs who are my absolute world. They stay at home whilst I go to work (maybe half the week now) and one of them can be relatively annoying (might shred some post or something when im out) because she’s still young. You’d need to really like dogs because they’re a really prominent part of my life and the house. I have a cage of rescue gerbils also.
