Double room in friendly home in Portslade

We have a furnished double room available in our home in Portslade. We are currently decorating the room ready for our new housemate but it will be ready soon!
Our home is a laid back and welcoming place. We both work full time in local government and have a beautiful 13 year old dog, called Pickle.
This is our home, so we are understandably picky about who we invite in; they must be the right fit for us, so please don't be offended if we decline.
We're vegan and while happy to share with veggies, we do ask that meat isn't cooked/eaten in our home.
Other than that, we're pretty easy going and have had many very successful and positive experiences with renting out our room.
The number 1 bus stops right outside and the new express 1X bus is a 5 mins walk from here. There's free on-street parking and we're really well located for walking on the downs.
We keep pretty normal hours and are happy to socialise while also respecting your space.
