We are currently refurbishing this bedroom and it will be ready from early January 2026. It will have a brand new double bed and a brand new mattress.

The photo shown is of our bedroom, but the style will be similar.

Your north-facing bedroom has a large window with lovely views over the garden, making it bright and peaceful. If you like bird watching, this is the place.



*About the House*

Our home is a 3 bed 1 bath and 1 downstairs loo semi-detached house with a driveway and front and back garden. We moved in this year and are still working on various rooms, so some spaces will be freshly done, and others still in progress.

The kitchen and bathroom have already been newly renovated, including a brand new big bath tub and a kitchen larder with plenty of space to store your food and appliances.

The sitting room is south-facing, filled with natural light, and although it hasn’t been refurbished yet, we are more than happy for you to use all the communal spaces including the quite large garden!

There is free parking on the driveway or on the street, and we live on a lovely avenue. The bus stop is just a couple of minutes away with buses that go straight into the centre of Brighton or you can walk to Portslade train station with direct trains to London.

We currently have a weekly cleaner, and we tend to clean and tidy as we go, so we hope for the same in a housemate!

We don’t have any pets due to our constant traveling but we are happy for you to have a pet.



About Us

We hope that we would be described as a friendly and welcoming couple who can adapt to the needs of others. We don’t tend to have many visitors and we usually keep to ourselves except for some visits from siblings, but that’s mostly due to being very busy at work, volunteering, and doing up the house!

We think this house share might be a bit of an unusual situation as we spend a lot of time away from home traveling. As such, if you’re looking for flatmates to hang out with every evening, we might not be the right fit. But if you want your own space in a peaceful home, this could be perfect for you!

When we are home, I work from my office on the second floor from 9am–5pm and my partner volunteers outside the house or works on diy projects at home (if she is going to make noise she would discuss this with you to make sure it worked for you). After work, we tend to go for a walk and then cook supper before bed at 10ish.

Also, in case it’s an issue, we don’t eat meat, but it’s fine if you do with your own pans.
