Description
Bright double room available in a spacious Victorian house, available from the start of June (though dates can be flexible for the right person).
Rent is £625 per month, excluding bills, which would be split equally.
Monthly household bills:
- Water: £63
- Electricity: £33
- Virgin Media: £25
- Council Tax (Band C): £152.25
Total: £273.25 per month
Split between 2 people: £136.63 each per month.
.
The room (13sqm2 ) is currently shown unfurnished, but I can provide a new double divan bed, side table, and small desk if needed.
You’d be sharing with just me and my cat, Ember. She loves people but is a little shy at first, so ideally you’re an animal lover and happy living with a cat.
I work mostly from home as an NHS therapist, so the house is best suited to someone who works hybrid or spends some time out during the week.
The property is large, recently renovated, and has plenty of space, with a few future home projects planned over time. There’s a front and back garden, free parking outside, and really friendly neighbours.
The house is in a great location: around a 2-minute walk from the 1X bus route straight into town, and about a 10-minute walk to Portslade railway station with regular trains into Brighton.
I’m hoping to find someone friendly, respectful, and easygoing who’s looking for a relaxed, comfortable, and sociable home environment : somewhere that feels calm and homely rather than just a house share.
Happy to answer any questions or arrange a viewing 🙂 (more photos to be added)
