Our roommate is leaving out beautiful house at the end of October and so we have an en-suite room available on Fiveways from the 27th October -1st November. (flexible between those days)
We are looking for someone to take over the contract for 4 months (until the end of March) with the possibility to renew at that point.
This will be done through Cliffords agency so referencing will be required.
The room has lots of light & huge built in storage with en-suite and the house is very nicely finished and spacious with a garden (sun trap!). The full length mirrored cupboards have so much storage space and the en-quite is great.
The bed frame and mattress can also be left if needed!
We are ideally looking for someone professional in their 30s who doesn't work from home, although happy to consider any applicants that we feel we'd get along well with. Current housemates are a couple - Alizée is French (31F) & Miles is British (32M). Alizée is a musician who works in childcare and is also studying counselling, Miles is a full-time musician so we would be interested to share with anyone with creative interests as well. We are primarily vegetarian but Alizée eats fish occasionally.
We are looking for someone relaxed and tidy to join us. We like a sociable atmosphere at home, but are not really a party house and would like to keep a fairly gentle environment at home.
We split bills and council tax between us 3 tenants currently and would do the same moving forwards, this works out at about £120 a month per person, on top of the £800 rent. So around £920 all in.
There are loads of streets with free parking 5 minutes walk away just off Fiveways which is very useful, or parking permits are available for our street as well.
There is also an office in the garden, currently used as a music studio. and used occasionally by our current roommate as an office space. We have reduced the rent to £800 and this will not include use of the garden office/studio for the new housemate, we've taken more of the rent on to have sole use of the space.
