Furnished Double Room In Homely Village Flat

I’m looking for a clean and tidy person to share my two bedroom furnished home. On a short or long term contract. This can be discussed.

You must be employed or possibly a mature or overseas student.
It would also suit somebody who is working in the area on a temporary contract.
I am afraid that working from home will not be possible.

I’m not obsessive but I like to live in a clean tidy home so I would expect my flat mate to respect that and to share in the general housework as well as maintaining the same standard in their own room. That should ensure the flat is comfortable for us both.


If you smoke then that’s fine, I’m a smoker too but it’s not allowed in the flat, so it’s strictly outside only. Yes in all weathers! If I can get used to it so can you! There’s a lovely view of the constellations out there at night!

Now, about the flat, it’s spacious split level two bedroom flat. The bedroom available is the largest and is fully furnished. I’ve got new bedding and towels, which are available, if needed for a small negotiable deposit.

The living room is large and airy and also has a TV I have a firestick , Superfast fibre Internet included.
There is a large fully equipped kitchen/dinning room and one bathroom with a bath and shower.
All the furniture and appliance belong to me so respectful use is expected.

It’s in the heart of Rottingdean village, 2min walk to the beach and bus stops. Takes 10/15min to the centre of Brighton on the bus. Rottingdean has Lots of little cafes and two mini supermarkets close by. There are 6 pubs and a few restaurants, very close to some nice walks and a nature reserve. Its quiet busy in the day but at night it’s very quiet.
If you have a car there is off street parking around the village.

Last but not least a little about myself! I’m a friendly outgoing 35 year old who enjoys a drink some evenings and socializing at home but this is not a party house.
I enjoy listening to a wide range of music and watching (amongst other things) true crime. I avoid watching the (depressing) news like the plague!
I am also a bit of a foodie and although I am a good cook (so I’m told) I don’t enjoy that part as much as eating!
I’m a great animal lover and the environment is very important to me. I do what I can to recycle and reuse.
I think that’s its important that we meet face to face; it’s so difficult to get a feel of one another’s personalities otherwise. That’s for the benefit of both of us. After all we need to be able to get along don’t we?
