Description

Hi!

We are three housemates searching for someone to take up our fourth bedroom on Upper Park Road. While it is the fourth bedroom, it is actually really well sized, with a double bed and desk working space, as well as a clothes rail and chest of drawers. The room is furnished currently, but could be rented as unfurnished if required. The house has one of the flashest bathrooms you're ever going to find in a rental property, with a super high end walk in rain shower and massive bath tub.

The location is amazing, directly across the road from the beautiful Alexandra Park. Two large supermarkets (Asda and Aldi) are within 10 minutes walking distance, and it's only 20 minutes (downhill) to central St. Leonards and Warrior Square station. Hastings old town and Bexhill are less than 10 minutes in the car, and a bus runs into town from the top of the road.

We all work in hospitality adjacent roles, two of us full-time in restaurants and one from home. As such there is almost always someone at home, however it isn't common for us all to be together at the same time except from when we're asleep! This means that the house is almost always quite quiet, but there's also plenty of opportunity to socialise and always someone around to hang out with or do something. It's a nice balance. You would have a lot of space to yourself. We love to listen to records and watch TV but we rarely have all-night parties (although never say never).

We are one binary couple and one single male. As such we would ideally be looking for a female housemate to strike a nice balance, however we are open to any other gender if the right person comes along, and are strongly LGBTQI+ positive.

We have a little Portuguese rescue pup named Ivy, who is lovely but very nervous and doesn't necessarily get on with other dogs. One of us is also deathly allergic to cats. For this reason we have marked no pets, however other than dogs and cats other pets would be fine, so feel free to bring along your hamster/goldfish.

The right housemate for us is; either already permanently based in St. Leonards or planning to be, sociable, tidy, easygoing and shares some of our common interests. We are of mixed ethnicities and cultures and are looking for a housemate who embraces all people with no prejudices.

We are not in any particular rush to find a housemate, and are more focused on finding the person who would like to be in this with us for the medium to long term. We would love to chat with you over a beer or coffee so please feel free to get in touch if you think you'd be a good fit.
