A bright, airy second floor room available in a happy, safe and friendly shared house in central St Leonards near the seafront.
The house is in an ultra convenient location: In a side street but just two minutes' walk from shops, buses, banks, cafes and takeaways. Five mins walk to the seafront and Warrior Sq railway station.
Room 3 has a view of the sea across the rooftops, and the sun streams through the south-facing window. It is nicely furnished in a streamlined style. It was last decorated 20 months ago.
Right outside the room is a small kitchenette on the landing with cupboards, a fridge and brand new microwave, toaster, kettle, crockery, cutlery and utensils.
Next to the kitchenette is a bathroom with bath with shower over, WC, basin, a large airing/storage cupboard and ample shelf space. The bathroom is shared between three people.
On the 1st floor there is another WC with a basin. There is also access out to a south-facing suntrap roof terrace.
On the ground floor is a fully equipped kitchen, with washing machine, freezer, microwave, airfyer, and a conservatory/dining room. There is a small a patio garden with a large tree, a few pot-plants, seating and a small table.
NOTES:
The house has superfast Sky broadband and wifi throughout.
We are seeking one clean and tidy, mature person - sorry, no couples. No objection to a well behaved child or respectful friend staying over now and again.
All of the current residents work from home. The owner lives on the premises and is a well known local author/historian.
We have a set of house rules which you must agree to and sign.
Sorry no pets as we have a cat. We cannot accommodate bicycles.
Parking outside the house is free from 4pm to 11am Mon-Sat and all day Sunday.
