Double Room available

Hi, I’ve got a double room available in lovely Woodingdean.

The room faces the garden, which backs onto a filed that sometimes has horses grazing on it. At the moment it’s got a double bed and a cupboard in it. I am happy to furnish it more fully (e. g. desk, extra drawers etc.) once I know whose moving in, but also happy if someone has stuff of their own that they prefer to bring.

The monthly rent includes: broadband, council tax, utility bills, TV Licence (don't own a TV but for iplayer), household items like washing powder, toilet paper, etc. and a cleaner that comes every 2 weeks for 3h.

The kitchen is a good size as is the lounge with cosy sofas at one end and a nice big dining room table at the other end. I also have a 3rd single room, with a day bed that pulls out to a double and can sleep guests. At the back of the garden is a lovely patio, which is perfect to enjoy in spring/summer)

There is space for parking (in not outside the house you will find a space 2min away) and if you’re a cyclist I'll make space in the front room for your bike.

It’s about 30min into Brighton. The 2 and 22 bus stop are about 5min walk away, where you will also find the local post office and off-license. In less in 10min you’re in Rottingdean, which has lovely little cafes and bars and most importantly the local beach.

There is easy access to the A27 and A23 and University of Sussex is less than 10min away (by car).

You will only be sharing the house with myself. Always keen to create a home that’s chilled, fun as well as considerate and supportive. My only caveat is that I try to keep my plastic waist to a minimum and all bio waist goes into the compost so would appreciate someone with an environmentally conscious mind.

I am happy to consider short stays.
