The room is fully furnished with a double bed, excellent wardrobe/storage space, dressing table and TV. You will also have use of the main family bathroom, which will predominantly be for your own use as I have my own en-suite.

The home has a spacious open-plan kitchen and living area, and I’m happy for the right person to treat the communal areas as a home rather than simply renting a bedroom.

£695 per month, including household bills and broadband.
£695 refundable deposit.

The property is conveniently located for local transport links, with bus routes towards Brentwood, Chelmsford and Lakeside. The train station is approximately a 20-minute walk away, with local shops and a coffee shop around a 5-minute walk away.

I’m a professional homeowner and am looking for one professional lodger who is clean, respectful and easy-going. This is a relaxed, friendly home rather than a party house, so I’d ideally like someone looking for a comfortable and peaceful place to live.

I also have a small, very friendly and affectionate dachshund. He is looked after away from home while I’m at work during the day and is home with me during evenings and weekends, so you would need to be comfortable around dogs. Unfortunately I can’t accommodate any additional pets.

Non-smoker preferred. References and proof of employment/income will be required.
