Bedroom area includes a very comfortable small double ottoman bed, chest of drawers, wardrobe, side table, Freeview TV and Wifi. The room has an oil filled radiator with timer settings.
Note: The room now contains a small double bed (as requested by previous lodger) not a single as pictured.
The room has it's own lockable door off of the main entrance hallway where there is a sole use toilet. Bathroom & Laundry facilities are located in the main part of the our house which is accessible both mornings and evening but not during working hours due to the alarm system being activated while we are at work (Mon - Fri 9am -4pm).
Off road parking for one vehicle included.
This room is ideal for someone that doesn't want to 'house share' but prefers their own space.
We live in a quiet Cul de Sac with no through traffic approx 2 Mins away from great bus links to Basildon Town Centre (with a train station with with direct links to London) , Pitsea, Wickford and Southend. Also situated by the bus stop are the local shops which include a local convenience store.
The house is a nicely furnished family home with fields to back and sides. There is 1 small friendly dog in the main property so you must like animals. We are looking for someone who is employed full time and is also easy going and will be respectful of our home and our property.
NON SMOKERS ONLY
We will require:
1. References (job, last landlord etc)
2. Proof of employment
3. Proof of earnings
4. £500 deposit.
If the room is viewed and found acceptable then all of the above will be needed before we will consider the occupation of the room - No exceptions!
We will carry out background checks and a lodger contract (which can be read before signing) will put put in place and will need to be signed before the room is occupied.
We are offering a 6 month contract then a rolling monthly contract thereafter. If you would like us to consider a slightly short term, please let us know.
