Hey!
I’m looking for a tenant to take over my tenancy of the master bedroom of the third-floor flat I’m renting in Chelmsford for £800/month (as of September) not including bills (although broadband is included in the rent).
The video in the listing focuses on the second bedroom as I took it when I was advertising for a flatmate. This advert is for the master ensuite, but all other details remain the same.
Couples won’t be considered.
The flat is Council Tax Band D and comes with a washer/dryer, dishwasher, oven, etc. The flat is 2 bed/2 bathroom and your room would be the master bedroom with the ensuite.
I have included photos of the open plan kitchen/lounge as well. My current flatmate will be staying on the tenancy and works in London 5-6 days a week. The apartment complex also has a co-working space opposite our apartment if that’s more your speed!
The flat has a balcony and nice views of the river from the balcony; it’s a 20 minute walk from the train station as well and is within walking distance to local supermarkets (Tesco, Aldi, Iceland). Whilst the apartment complex has parking, unfortunately there are no parking bays available currently.
All bills are split equally between myself and my flatmate currently. Electricity comes to around £70/month and as we rarely use gas it’s approximately £60 every 3 months.
Water is currently £52/month and council tax is currently £217/month (we pay over 10 months).
The apartment complex is pet-friendly although there is a £35/month additional charge for pets.
I am looking for a tenant between 28-35, women preferred, who is respectful and friendly. My current flatmate is a wonderful retail manager who’s from Spain and we have lived together for just over 2 years. She also has a cat who gets along well with other cats. She’s respectful, funny, and quite shy before she gets to know you. She is also a brilliant cook and very clean and tidy.
The room will be available from mid January but you may be able to move in sooner subject to passing referencing.
