House: The house is a character Victorian property, with super spacious shared living areas, including living room, dining room, large family bathroom and kitchen.

The house was completely re-decorated in 2021 and is definitely Instagram-worthy!

The kitchen has an aga-style oven and is a gorgeous country kitchen with double doors onto the patio. The garden has patio and lawn, with chairs, table and a swing seat. It is wonderful, especially in the summer and a lot of care has been taken to re-plant the garden in 2023.

Housemates: Your professional housemates are great! A mix of jobs including journalism and working for the University. All super friendly, clean and tidy. Not a student household.

Added bonus: Exceptional cleaner comes every other week, gardener comes every month/when the garden needs doing and and all bills are included in the monthly rent (water, gas, electricity, council tax).

Location: Situated less than 15 minutes walk from the centre of historic Colchester city centre, 10 min drive to the University and a 20 minute drive to Mersea with its beaches.
