Hey hey there!

Welcome to my advert. I’m looking for a friendly flatmate to share my home with! It’s just me here and Nina the cat (who is very chilled) in a comfortable, light, and cosy space.

It’s a 4-bedroom, 3-storey semi-detached house. I’ve got a beautiful garden that I’m really proud of, with a nice seated terrace area. The house is fully furnished to a high standard, tidy, and has a chilled vibe.

The location is super convenient: under 10 mins walk to the hospital, Asda, Colchester train station, and Highwoods Country Park. Around 20 mins walk to the high street and 5 mins drive from the A12. There’s usually plenty of kerbside parking nearby (I have a small dedicated space for a small car only).

A bit about me:
I’m 34, love music (particularly alternative 80s), have a good sense of humour, and enjoy a mix of chilling at home and going out. I like a neat and tidy home, but I also enjoy relaxing, having a laugh, and chatting about all sorts of things. I’m left-wing politically, friendly, and just enjoy living with someone who’s kind, trustworthy, and fun to be around.

Who I’d love to share with:
Someone trustworthy, considerate, and drama-free! A person who can respect the space and home we share. You don’t have to be exactly like me, just reliable and easy to get along with. Bonus points if you like music, cats, or have some semblance of a sense of humour!

The room is furnished with:

Desk for work/study
The rent is £600 per month, including all bills, internet, council tax, etc. Deposit and first month are due on move-in. Room available from 7 February 2026.
