Huge double room in 1630s house

We have a huge master room available in my home that is in the heart of the Dutch Quarter.

The bedroom is located on the first floor, it is the master bedroom of the house and the pictures do not do it justice. There’s a huge inbuilt wardrobe, handmade kingsize bed, art deco wardrobe, antique handmade desk with computer chair and a big speaker used as a bedside table. Any furniture can be removed upon request as suits your needs.

Less of a flat share, this is a true home share, we’re very relaxed and open and generally talk a lot of rubbish including philosophy, spirituality, life’s meaning/purpose/what the hell is going on.

The living room is to share and has a record player, iPad with Spotify and wood burner, which makes the place feel very snuggly warm. There’s also a guitar and a keyboard for playing around with and a few board games (we sometimes play backgammon and period).

The kitchen is a proper family sized kitchen with a five ring gas hob, two fridge freezers, a bunch of electrical appliances, a four person kitchen table and proper butlers sink.

We kind of have a cat.. She was kicked out and left to fend for herself last year by another house so we took her in and now she lives here rent free- what a deal. She’s low maintenance and comes and goes as she pleases. She’s friendly, quiet and if she looks at you like she’s been starved then she’s most likely already been fed. She generally sleeps in my bed.

The back garden is a work in progress and kind of looks like a bit of a wood store at the moment but the back back garden is full of vegetables, herbs, wild plants and flowers were growing, which you can help yourself to and get involved with if you wish.

The surrounding neighbours are all really friendly and often stop to talk, we have a little community here in the heart of Colchester.

I’m a tree surgeon, wood worker and go to quite a few folky festivals. I can teach you how to make wooden spoons or bowls if you ever want to try. There’s always bits of wood and tools around if you ever want to mess around and make something. I also do quite a bit of yoga to counteract all of the tree climbing and boulder at CCP.

Kash lives in the other room, he’s quiet and very warm. He loves drawing, computer games, philosophy, meditation and we’re both getting in to astral projection. He’s also a phenomenal cook and we both love cooking.

Also, super fast virgin broadband although it’s only really Kash that uses it. It’s 500mb Wifi but there’s a hard wired connection to the room. I don’t particularly use or care for it so it’d be just you and Kash.
