Double Bedroom with ensuite

I’m offering a spacious ground-floor double bedroom with its own private ensuite in my 4-bedroom home.

The room is located on the ground floor, giving you a good degree of privacy and separation from the main living areas. You’ll also have access to the garden and a utility room downstairs. The main kitchen is located on the first floor and is shared with the household.

I’m a full-time working dad and co-parent my two children, who are with me 50% of the time. When they’re with me, it’s a lively but relaxed family home; when they’re with their mum, the house is generally much quieter. I’m usually out of the house for work between around 8am and 6pm during the week.

I’ve had two housemates previously, both of whom stayed in the room for around two years before eventually moving on for their own reasons. I think that says a lot about the home and the living arrangement — I’m looking for someone who wants a comfortable, clean and relaxed place to live rather than simply a room to rent.

The ideal housemate would be respectful, clean and considerate, and happy to share a home while also having their own space and independence. I’m easy-going and sociable, but I also understand the importance of having your own privacy and downtime.
