3 female houseshare with 1 space available (ladies only I’m afraid!) as one housemate is shortly to move out at the end of February. Landlord no longer lives in but I am based in Colchester so can always get any maintenance sorted quickly.
The room available is a double, with use of the main bathroom with shower and bath. It also overlooks the garden.
Tidy and spacious townhouse 7-10 minutes walk from Colchester station, with good living spaces (separate lounge, dining area and spacious kitchen), garden, 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, off-road and street parking which housemates share. Dishwasher and tumble dryer too.
The room is perfect for commuting to London, Ipswich, Chelmsford or Norwich - or for walking or driving the short distance into Colchester. We are 10 minutes from the A12 so getting to work anywhere in the local area has great access.
The room rate includes council tax, tv license, internet and a cleaner (every other week), gardener and window cleaner as required - with utility bills in addition.
Typically the utility bills (gas/electric/water and Netflix) range from £25-40 average per month per person depending on time of year.
There are also great local amenities, including 24 hour supermarket, town within 5 mins drive or 20 mins walk, brand new David Lloyd gym, Col U football ground, and the beautiful Essex countryside and coast very nearby!
Paperwork/DPS logging/references etc. will be done by an agency at no charge to the tenant.
