Friendly house share

I have a double room becoming available from end of Feb, due to my current housemate moving in with their partner after about a year living here.

Double room with fitted wardrobes, a double bed, and bedside cabinet.

The rest of the bungalow is shared, including living room, kitchen, and bathroom (shower only, no bath), and garden. (I am a fair weather gardener so it looks a mess right now, but will have a spring clear out ready to enjoy in the summer!)

I work from home most of the time and a lot of my work is confidential, so am looking for someone who predominantly works away from home, week day daytimes, so we aren’t trying to work at home at the same time, unless you are able to work from your room, but appreciate that wouldn’t be ideal for some.

Plenty of on street parking, in a quiet road.

I have 2 gorgeous dogs who are my babies and who will want to be your friend, so a dog lover is a must! I also have tortoises who potter about the garden in the summer and hibernate in the winter.

My work is extremely busy day time week days, so evenings I tend to just chill after a nice dog walk and watch a bit of tv before an early night.
In the summer I love a good bbq and wine in the garden, and have a hot tub to relax in!!

I would like to share with someone similar, who might enjoy socialising some evenings/weekends, but who also appreciates each others need for our own space. Someone who loves watching true crime docs would fit right in! And, as mentioned before, a dog lover is a must.

The right person is very important, I don’t want either of us to have to tip toe around each other, I want us to be comfortable and relaxed in our shared space.

First and last month rent upfront - I find this better than a deposit as it means no one owes money back at the end of the tenancy.

Potentially I could consider a dog, but it would very much depend on the sex, size, temperament etc, and what your arrangements are for them whilst you are at work. It would also require a couple of dog meets to make sure they all got on.
