FEMALE ONLY. A spacious double room with its own en-suite bathroom is available in my home from 10.06.2026 onwards.
The room is fully furnished with new carpet, a double bed, fitted wardrobes, desk/vanity, TV, chair, bedside tables, mirror, pouffe etc. The en-suite has a shower, toilet and sink. The room also has a small balcony.
I am 60 years of age and live with my mother, who is 86 years of age. There are 5 bedrooms in total in the property. My 41 year old daughter comes to visit often and also stays overnight here and there with her husband and baby. My 37 year old son also visits sometimes with his wife.
The kitchen area would be shared. There are 3 living rooms downstairs so the housemate can also have access to a living room downstairs all to herself, if she so wishes. The housemate can also make full use of the garden and patio table/chairs.
The house has central heating and a driveway where parking is available for the housemate.
The house is located a few mins walk from Grange Hill station, which is on the Central line. There are local amenities available.
My requirements in a housemate would be as follows - ideally someone long-term, female only, working professional, consumes halal meat only or a vegetarian diet, non-smoker, no alcohol, no pets, no male visitors to the house and someone who will not wear their outdoor shoes throughout the property. Your female visitors are of course welcome. I am really laid-back and would only ask that the housemate cleans up after themselves.
These conditions are non-negotiable so please refrain from contact if you don’t meet these conditions (sorry, I don’t want to waste anyone’s time that’s all). Other than this, I am really flexible and the prospective housemate would be left to their own devices with their own personal and private space (although you’re welcome to socialise with me if you so wish!).
Bills are all inclusive of the monthly rent (broadband included).
