Beautiful room in gorgeous Georgian cottage

We have a beautiful room available in a bright and airy, but also cosy home. Easy commute to central london, 30 mins to liverpool street or fenchurch street.

We are looking for an easy going, like minded person to join us in our beautiful home. During the week we are a quiet house, but socialise with a drink / meal or film at the weekends. Current housemates are: my partner, Ned, 27 - a Wine merchant; Jack 22, an engineer for British Rail and myself - a teacher! We enjoy cooking good food and drinking nice wine and we'd love a housemate to share the odd bottle with at the weekend. We enjoy keeping fit and have 2 cats.

The house is spacious, so there's plenty of room to kick back and relax or socialise. The room to let would share a bathroom between two. Bills include wifi, council tax, gas, electricity, Netflix etc, even loo roll as we subscribe to Who Gives a Crap and get enough for the house each month. We have a cleaner, which is £6 a week, or £10 if you want to include your room as well as communal areas. There is a small south-east facing garden to the rear of the property, which we enjoy the odd BBQ in.

I have added the floor plan, the room available is room 3 and shares a bathroom with room 2. Ned and I are on the third floor and have our own bathroom. Bedroom 4 is not in use as a bedroom and that won’t change. The kitchen is really large and it is never a problem to have more than one person cooking at a time. That said, we currently tend to eat at different time anyway. Ned and I usually say quite late. There’s also a utility room, we hang washing out in there in the winter so it’s not in the way and in the garden in summer.

There’s only room for one car on the driveway, but there is ample parking in the side road next to us.
