My house is up for sale, so once I find a buyer, I will obviously need to give notice to move out. Realistically, if I find a buyer soon, it’s still likely to be 3 months before I move. Please be aware of this when considering the room.

Furnished spacious double bedroom in 3 bedroom townhouse in Laindon/Steeple View area. Homely living, with owner/landlord, 2nd spare room is currently not occupied.


Large double room. Approximate size 13ft by 11ft.
1.3 miles from Laindon station. 3.5 miles from Billericay. Close to McDonalds on A127.

Netflix, Prime and Unlimited Broadband WIFI included.

The house is fully furnished, the room furnished with a double bed, chest of drawers and multiple wardrobes.

Although the room doesn’t have an en-suite bathroom per-se, the main bathroom is right next to the bedroom.
The room includes an allocated parking space.

Live-in landlord. I am a secondary school teacher in my 40s, I am a gay man and I have five gorgeous and friendly cats.

The rent INCLUDES ALL energy bills, council tax, internet, TV etc.


Currently, I employ a cleaner, who cleans the house and changes the bed sheets once a week. The contribution towards this cost (£100pcm) is not included in the rent. Cleaning arrangements are open to negotiation.
