A lovely well-lit, furnished double room will become available 20th Oct or sooner in our quiet, modern house.

This is a private home with sunny kitchen-dining room, tidy and fully equipped, open plan with the living-room. 2 bathrooms, washing machine, drying rack, central heating, off-road parking, bike-shed, garden and countryside views. Clean upstairs shower-bathroom shared with just one other lodger.
No smoking (or other strong smells!) indoors.

Bills and fast fibre Wifi included. Council Tax (C) to be discussed, as £50pcm additional if it applies. No tv licence.

Rent is basically £725 pcm, but a reduction may be discussed for less-than-full-time occupancy such as M-F. Long term preferred and 28 days' notice required to end.

Littlebury is about 2 miles west of Saffron Walden and 3 miles from Chesterford Research Park and Audley End Station; 4.5 miles south of the Hinxton EMBL Genome Campus. Although there are buses nearby e. g. City7, they are slow.

Responsible applicants welcomed; ideally we are looking for another professional person who will enjoy taking good care of the home. Kept clean and tidy, this place is a peaceful and respectful environment for you to work and rest.
You’d mostly be sharing with one other friendly, considerate professional, as I’m away much of the winter. I’m a retired biologist and artist, and have been a reliable landlord for 16 years.
