Description
I have long retired but actively engaged in Hon Research post ( UCL). in neuropsychology of impact of early life experience on brain development. Sounds dull but is important to me !
I can offer rent free. a small 2 roomed flatlet - i room with double bed and ensuite. The other sofa and single bed. There are two kitchens and plenty of living rooms that can be shared in the rest of this 6 bed house..
This wont suit most people as I am looking for someone who will be at home much of the time as I have reached an age when isolation can be hazardous - as I have discovered during 15 months recent solitude. I am not looking for a "carer" but for someone pleasant who can do the things I no longer can manage well.
A mother and her son lived here recently for a year - it worked well for me and also for them until they had to return at short notice to New Zealand. I am still in touch but they wont be returning. The mum was rather house tied for obvious reasons. As I spent most of my working life as a teacher and am a qualified educational psychologist I would again consider someone with a child..
The house is in Loughton, in a very quiet road in a conservation area overlooking the Forest. There is a cat in residence so no more cats but a smallish dog just might be ok ?
This arrangement is unsuitable for most people looking for accommodation so please don't waste your time with this unless you think it a real possibility !
regards John
