Description
Hello,
I'm a live-in landlord looking to rent out a spare room in my flat. It's a 3-bedroom flat however the third (smallest) bedroom I use as a home-office and toy storage room for my son; so effectively a 2-bed flat. My son - who is 3 years old - stays here with me every other weekend, every Wednesday evening - plus a few extra days/evenings now and then. You would need to be comfortable with having a small child around.
The flat is a 10 minute walk to the general hospital, a 13 minute walk to North station and a 9 minute walk to ASDA. There's no off-road parking unfortunately but there is on-street parking that's usually available.
The room on offer has an en-suite. It's a large bright room with a wardrobe and 2 chests of drawers - one of these could be swapped for a wardrobe if you preferred hanging space over drawers.
There is a balcony off of the lounge which gets sun in the morning. There is a main bathroom which I would predominately use but I don't mind sharing if you wanted to take a bath.
Overall I'd say it's a nice flat in a really good location. The neighbours are nice and quiet. The only drawbacks are that the kitchen is small and could with some modernising (planning to do this later in the year), and I'm lacking decent furniture/decor.
I work from home 3 days per week. I'm easy going and friendly. I've lived in house shares several times in the past, I've had several lodgers over the years and I've been lodger myself - so I know what's required in order to get along with other house mates and not cause any conflict or drama.
The following bills are included: council tax, broadband, water, gas, electricity. I don't have a TV license - I don't actually own a TV - but I could get a TV license and include it in the rent if you had your own TV to bring.
