We have a bright, south-facing en-suite room available in our four-bedroom family home on a quiet road in Rayleigh (SS6). The room has a pleasant, leafy outlook and benefits from plenty of natural light throughout the day.

The house is ideally located with woodland at the end of the road, offering easy access to long walks and green space.

Room available from 1st March 2026
Viewings to take place mid-February

The room:
—South-facing with good natural light
—En-suite bathroom
—Furnished, including a large wardrobe
—Single bed available if required (or you may bring your own double bed)
—Your own fridge

Optional garden therapy / work room:
At the rear of the garden is a newly built, spacious and fully soundproofed therapy/work room, available to use if you work from home or require a quiet, private space. It includes:
—Desk and chair
—TV
—Toilet
—Skylights for natural light
—Comfy lounge chairs

Use of this space is optional, and the rent can be discussed depending on your needs.

The home:
This is a genuine family home, and we hope to welcome someone who would feel comfortable being part of the household rather than just renting a room. We aim to create a home where everyone feels supported and at ease. This is not a party house.

You would be living with myself (45) my partner (50)and our 6-year-old daughter. We are friendly, helpful and considerate, and we are looking for a like-minded lodger. There is plenty of parking available.
