Double bedroom in quiet and friendly apartment

I’m 42 from Northern Ireland. I am looking to find a friendly person to share my home with.

Things that may be important about my home:

It’s fully furnished and has everything you need to live well, and someone who lives here is welcome to share. There is a communal garden which is lovely for the summer months and parking is also available. The apartment is on the first floor and has 10 steps with no wheelchair access and no lift.

The area is quiet and Ockendon station is 8 mins walk, with the train going direct to Fenchurch street and Southend. Upminster is 1 stop away and connects to the District Line. You can also get the bus to Upminster, which goes past the front door. The 370 bus runs to Lakeside shopping centre and Romford (Elizabeth line).

Bills are:

Electricity - Varies depending on use. I’m using around £100 a month when it’s cold and £60 when it’s not (Electric heating). Other bills are:
Water - £18
Broadband - £12.50
Council tax - £89

(Total = £119.50 + electricity)

The bedroom itself is fairly straight forward, and a bit of a blank canvas. You would be welcome to decorate as you wish. There is some furniture in the room, and I would be happy to explore getting what you need to make the space work for you.

Things about me that may be important:

I’m a therapist and work mainly in Central London and occasionally in the local community. I have occasional online sessions (Only one Monday at 7:00pm at present) and need the communal space for this.

I personally do not drink, smoke or do drugs and get on better with similar minded people. I don’t mind people who drink socially, however if it is a bedrock of your life or personality, we are very unlikely to be suitable living together. If you smoke or use drugs, please do not make contact. I’m vegetarian myself, but happy with meat eaters.

When I’m not working you are likely to find me with friends, out walking, swimming and cooking / baking. I enjoy TV, films and going to theatre and movies. Holidays are important to me and I often like to get away.
