A 15-20 mins walk to centre of town and on a major bus route also. 10-15 min stroll to the beach. There are plenty of stores locally and nearby are bars and restaurants as well as there being several gyms. Southend itself hosts many eateries, shopping and a cinema and two train lines..
The house boasts tasteful decoration and the room available comes with triple wardrobe, chest, side cabinet, bedside lamp, and double draw divan bed etc. (A desk does also fit and is available if required) the room overlooks the lovely rear garden.
There is full central heating throughout from brand new boiler and there is use of the large kitchen and dining areas incorporating all mod cons throughout such as usual washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, microwave, separate oven and grill/oven and everything you need and expect in a fully functioning house etc.

There is also a small separate lounge area downstairs for use with the room to let and to enable some additional space.
As to be expected there is also fast and reliable broadband and sky dish,
The house is very comfortable and clean and has a lovely large maintained private garden, and large BBQ which you may make use of and is good fun in summer.
I love my home and all the comforts yet I am laid back and like the house to be treated as a home, you will need to respect the environment and keep the place tidy and clean....yet homely I would expect the same respect from any house visitor, be it my friends, family or lodger. Privacy is respected when required, however, we are always polite and say hello to each other when coming and going
