Hello. My name is Ashley and I’ve bought a flat and I’m searching for a flat mat.

The flat is ultra modern and I am offering a double bedroom with your own bathroom.

Bedroom: large double room with brand new double divan bed, brand new orthopaedic double mattress, headboard, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bed side table and mirror (all pine except the bed). Please note: the photo of the bedroom does not show the black out blinds. These have now been fitted.

Bathroom: across the corridor is a large modern bathroom with a bath and standing shower with smart tap, heated towel rail, under bath LED lighting, smart mirror (warms to prevent steaming, lights and inbuilt digital clock) smart taps over modern sink and toilet.

Kitchen/lounge: the modern kitchen has all the usual conveniences as well as a boiling water tap (no more kettles!), dishwasher, washer and tumble dryer, and plenty of storage; large flat-screen tv with Netflix and Virgin Media tv and broadband. I also have a PS4 which I’m happy to share., with Amazon Prime, Disney+ and more.

You also have use of the immaculate communal gardens. The buildings are maintained by the maintenance company who regularly clean the hallways and maintain the gardens. The building has fob key access with a lift and CCTV. There are smoke alarms and a carbon Monoxide monitor.

This price does not include an underground car parking space but this can potentially be organised with a neighbour who does not use their space. I can support with organising this and this is in an underground gated car park. There is also parking available for free on surrounding roads but it is pot luck.

The flat is situated a ten minute walk to Southend Central and Prittlewell train station and the high street. There is a Premier corner shop directly outside the front door and the flats back on to the Greyhound Retail park featuring Lidl, Iceland, Poundstretcher, Matalan, Starbucks, KFC, Farmfoods and Mecca Bingo. It takes 4 minutes to walk there.

About me: I’m a 31 year old professional working for the NHS. I work full time Monday to Friday and have an active social life (I’m often out and about in the evening either doing improv comedy, stand-up or seeing friends), I’m a friendly chap who is relaxed but likes to keep a clean home.

About you: I’m looking for a friendly professional who is happy to share a flat and keep it tidy. Currently I am not looking for couples to share the room. A good sense of humour is desirable!

The rent is £625 per calendar month and this includes ALL BILLS including water, sewerage, electricity, gas, Netflix, Virgin Media tv and broadband, council tax and general upkeep. One month’s deposit is required before you move in which will be put into the Deposit Protection Scheme, with the certificate of this shared with you.

About me: I’m a member of the LGBTQ+ community and am double vaccinated, waiting for my booster! :)
