Description
LATEST UPDATE.....PLEASE NOTE: I'm not considering ANY MORE APPLICATIONS at this stage as I have a high number of enquiries that I'm already dealing with. If anything changes I will update these details BUT NO ROOMS ARE CURRENTLY AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME.
I have a cosy but spacious 3 bedroom house in Southchurch (1 mile east of Southend town centre). It's quite near to nice parks (approx 15 mins walk), 20-25 mins walk to beaches/seafront (5 mins bike ride) and lovely countryside is only a few minutes drive away.
The house is literally a few mins walk to the bus stops and approximately 8 minutes walk to the train station (which can zap you into London in around 50 minutes)
It's in a very popular, vibrant area (and, in my opinion, has a nicer feel than the town/city centre.), and has cafés, restaurants, pubs, supermarkets, independent shops, baker, butcher, various takeaways hairdressers, barbers, hardware/houseware store etc. and there's even a library that's just approx 5 minutes walk.
This is all very nearby to the house and yet it feels nicely tucked away from it all here, in a pleasant residential/family area in a quiet street. The house is in SS2 4NP but please also check out SS1 2QA, which is very nearby and has many shops, restaurants etc. as mentioned before.
This is an old, characterful house (but has modern amenities!) in a pleasant family neighbourhood...and 8 mins walk to train station/2-3 mins walk to bus stops.
As mentioned, I have 3 bedrooms here, a bathroom with a shower and toilet (and an extra toilet downstairs).
I am looking for two people to live here, so there will be a maximum of 3 people here at any one time, including myself.
I will be a live-in landlord, but I also plan to travel at times, so there could be just two people here at times (in, as I said a cosy, spacious house with two toilets!).....and as you probably know if you've been browsing on here, some properties will try to squeeze 5, 6 (or more !) people in!...but that's not the approach here; I want to create a calm and comfortable environment for whoever comes to stay here.
There is a good sized kitchen-dining room, a separate living room with t. v./dvd and there is a small, attractive garden.
I don't have WiFi at the moment but I will have this set up when I have reached an agreement for someone to move in.
The utility bills and council tax etc are included but of course that doesn't include your food, toiletries, phone contract etc.
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask me!
Best wishes for now,
Steven
