Double room in friendly, quiet, pet free, child free house.

All the kids have left and it’s only us, a couple, living in this 4-5 bedroom house. We’re looking to rent out one comfortable, air-conditioned double bedroom with plenty of built-in wardrobe storage (and space in the garage / shed if you need to store other items).

Furnished or unfurnished, it’s upto you. You could have a bed with mattress, bedside table, chest of drawers, TV and possibly other bits.

The house is a large semi-detached in a well positioned cul-de-sac with lovely neighbours. It’s just off Rayleigh Road (A129), between the Sainsbury’s at Rayleigh Weir and the Woodmans Arms pub in Thundersley.

All bills are included, as is Netflix and fast wi-fi.

Shared kitchen with all essentials (incl washing machine). The upstairs bathroom is a four piece with toilet, bidet, washbasin and bath / shower. There’s a further toilet downstairs.

You’ll have use of the large lounge, garden etc.

The #1 bus stop is literally less than a minute’s walk – the bus takes you to Southend in one direction and Rayleigh train station in the other. The A127 is a minute’s drive away and the A13 about 2 minutes away by car. We’re sort of equidistant from Benfleet station and Rayleigh station.

On street parking is available.

The house isn’t anything flash, it’s simple and comfortable. We are flexible on the size of the deposit if you’ve got great references.

3. We won’t agree a rental over the phone. We need to meet you first and, well, you need to see the place. You’re welcome to bring a friend along for the first meeting if you wish. We'll put the kettle on.
