This lovely rural location is surrounded by farm land so if you enjoy walking , cycling , running then you have hit the jackpot here as the property is next to both walking and cycling tracks leading to the picturesque Blackwater estuary with access to the stunning sea wall .
Turn right on reaching the sea wall and you have a scenic walk , run or cycle along the estuary sea wall towards the hidden gem of Goldhanger beach , Heybridge basin and onward towards maldon .
If you turn left more stunning scenery with the estuary wall walk heading toward Tollesbury then onto shingle head and continue on to Tollesbury Marina then my favourite bit onward toward Salcot and old hall marshes and onward towards Mersea island .
The wild life along the whole estuary has to be seen with Buzzards , Marsh ,Harriers as well as 2 types of owls near dusk .not forget we get sometimes up to 4/5 owls here in the trees in our own gardens a t night .
All the wading bird ,as well as geese , ducks lots of types and , two types of dear , Hares and loads more .
If photography is your thing as well wildlife and some big sky sunsets , changing tides of the estuary.
Room is very large and for single occupancy only no couples or sharing .

we both live in a separate Annex cottage at the rear of the big property so your pretty independent in there which is very unusual but very nice for you as it makes feel like it’s more like your own home from home
