Bright, clean room in Wivenhoe

I have been hosting for many years, mostly mature female international students, in a quiet, clean home.

The room which will be available has a large window with plenty of light, overlooking the garden and trees, single bed with two large under bed drawers, bedside table, reading lamp, wardrobe, chest of drawers, desk, chair.

I can supply all bedding (not all with flowers on!), towels, hairdryer etc.

The bathroom is shared (bath, over bath shower, washbasin and toilet). There is a second toilet and washbasin downstairs.

The kitchen is spacious and light with plenty of storage space, air fryer, microwave, washing machine etc. It has everything you need, cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery etc, no need to bring anything!

There is one male PhD student lodger and a live in female home owner. The rent for a student will be £420 but for a professional working person £450 because of extra council tax.

We are hoping for someone considerate, tidy and quiet to share our living space.

It is an 8 minute walk to the bus stop near the Co-op supermarket, where there are regular buses to the university (some visitors choose to walk) and Colchester, including direct to the general hospital, and under a ten minute walk to the train station for Colchester and London.

Wivenhoe is lovely with coffee shops, new and second hand book shops, attractive, easy walks….
