Double room near South Street available!

A fully furnished double room in a 2-bedroom property 5 mins from South Street is available from 01 June 2024.

I’m currently living here and looking for someone to take over my flatmate’s room as she is leaving.

The room has a double bed, a desk, chair, side table and clothing rails. There is also a separate wardrobe outside the room that would be yours.

The house is very tidy and spacious. The property is managed by an agency that covers any repairs. We have the following amenities:

- a shared living room with a built in bookshelf, smart TV and plenty of storage space
- a shared bathroom with a shower, bathtub and heated railing
- a washing machine
- all kitchen amenities: microwave, kettle, toaster, oven, electric hob
- a newly installed boiler
- a spare room for storage
- a garden shed for storage
- a garden/patio
- a conservatory (lovely in warmer months!)
- on-street parking
- smart meter and gas central heating

The rent is £775/month excluding bills. Bills per person are usually £40-50/month (gas + electric, £60ish in colder months) and WiFi is £12/month.

I’m looking for a flatmate who is a post-doc, PhD student or a professional.

A bit about myself:

I’m a 23 year professional working at the university. I am also an alumna! I work 9-5pm during the week, with some days working from home, so I usually prefer quiet evenings where I cook and binge watch a comforting show. On the weekends, I’m usually reading, baking or looking for local markets to visit. I’m always down to spend an afternoon browsing bookstores or café-hopping.

I’m quite tidy, and I am looking for a flatmate who is the same ☺️ It’s a lovely house with lots of sunshine (when we get any!) and I love freshening it up with flowers.
